Part 1: Celebrities
Question 1: Do you follow any celebrities on social media?
… I wouldn’t say I’m a huge celebrity follower. I see them all over the news sometimes, but I wouldn’t say I’m glued to their every move. However, there are some influencers, or KOLs as they’re called here, who I find interesting. They might be in the fashion industry or maybe the food scene, sharing cool tips or new trends.
Question 2: Who is the most famous celebrity in your country?
That’s a tough one! There are definitely some A-listers in Vietnam, especially in the music world. Singers like Son Tung MTP are constantly making headlines. He’s had some controversy in the past, but recently he’s been putting out some great music and making a lot of dough, you could say!
Question 3: How do you feel about celebrities who use their platform for social causes?
I think it’s fantastic! Celebrities have a huge voice, and if they use it to raise awareness for important issues, that’s a good thing. Of course, with all the information out there, it’s important to be discerning. There can be a lot of misleading information, especially with celebrity endorsements. That’s why I try to search for authentic information, backed by credible sources, not just what a celebrity is promoting.
Question 4: Have you ever been surprised by something a celebrity has done?
… Well, there have been some cases where celebrities have ended up behind bars or in the news for the wrong reasons. It can be a shock to the public, especially when they’ve been held in such high regard. It just goes to show that even the most famous people aren’t perfect.
