Overall, film-club goers consistently had the highest participation, followed by martial arts practitioners, both showing stability over the period. In contrast, amateur dramatics and table tennis participants exhibited opposing trends, while musical performances only began in 2005.

From 2000 to 2010, film club participants remained steady at around 65, martial arts at approximately 39, and table tennis at about 19, despite minor fluctuations. Amateur dramatics saw a slight rise to 30 participants by 2005, then declined to intersect with table tennis at 20 participants around 2010. Musical performances started in 2005 with 10 participants by 2010.

In the following decade, film club and martial arts participation remained stable at 65 and 40, respectively. Table tennis saw a dramatic increase, peaking at around 55 by 2020. Khi viết một bài Writing task, việc nhóm thông tin trong biểu đồ là CỰC KÌ quan trọng. Vì sao? Vì nó cho bài viết của mình có sự trôi chảy, mạch lạc, và quan trọng nhất là nó sẽ hook người đọc cực kì hiệu quả. Làm sao để nhóm thông tin lại với nhau? Khi nhìn vào một biểu đồ, ưu tiên quan sát những điểm nổi bật (cái gì tăng, cái gì giảm, cái gì giữ nguyên), những điểm đối lập, tương đồng, điểm DUY NHẤT. Phần Overview quan trọng nhất là GENERAL TREND. 

Các bạn hãy nhìn vào biểu đồ:

• Đầu tiên “Film club” là thằng lớn nhất nhưng về cơ bản NÓ ĐI NGANG giống thằng “Martial arts” nên mình có thể gộp hai dữ liệu này lại với nhau. (Điểm tương đồng)
•  Tiếp theo ta có sự ĐỐI LẬP của “ amateur dramatics” và “Table tennis”. Một thằng tăng còn một thằng giảm. => Mình sẽ gộp 2 đứa này lại với nhau. (Điểm đối lập)
• Vậy là còn sót lại “Musical performances” và nó tăng, đồng thời là dữ liệu DUY NHẤT bắt đầu từ năm 2005 (Điểm duy nhất).

YAY! Sau khi Grouping thì chúng ta đã viết ngay được Overview. Câu hỏi tiếp theo là: “Làm sao để có thể chia ra những cái đống lùm xùm bù lu bù loa này thành 2 thân bài?” 

Bây giờ, chúng ta sẽ treat phần Overview như một cái sườn bài để viết 2 thân bài cho hiệu quả (Đây chính là nguyên nhân vì sao Overview cực kì QUAN TRỌNG, vì nó là vừa một cái general summary cho ta viết thân bài và vừa là cái để thu hút người đọc.)

Nhìn kĩ ta thấy giai đoạn từ 2000 tới 2010, “martial arts”, ‘film club”và “table tennis đều có điểm chung. Cả 3 đều đi ngang, gọi là “minor fluctuations” => ta gộp nó lại thành một câu. Bên cạnh đó, ta gộp “amateur dramatics” và “table tennis” lại với nhau thành một câu và nêu lên điếm giao nhau giữa 2 thằng. => Thân bài 1

Thân bài 2 ta sẽ phân tích giai đoạn sau của biểu đồ. Vẫn nhìn vào những điểm ĐẶC BIỆT của biểu đồ thì 2 thằng “film club” và “ martial arts” vẫn có ít sự thay đổi nên ta nhóm cả hai thành một câu. Sau đó chúng ta chỉ cần nêu lên sự đối lập của amatuer dramatics và table tennis (một thằng thì tăng, một thằng thì giảm). Và cuối cùng nêu lên cái trend của “musical performances”. DONE!
