Part 1: Sleeping
Examiner: How important is sleep for you?
You: Absolutely crucial! I function way better when I’ve had a good night’s sleep.
Examiner: How much sleep do you usually aim for?
You: I try to get around 7 or 8 hours. Anything less, and I wake up feeling like a hungover sloth – you know, that half-awake, half-asleep state where your brain feels foggy?
Examiner: Do you have any trouble sleeping sometimes?
You: Oh sure! Especially if I’ve been scrolling through my phone for ages before bed. The blue light messes with my sleep cycle, and next thing I know, it’s 3 am and I’m wide awake!
Examiner: What do you do to ensure a good night’s sleep?
You: I have a bit of a bedtime routine. I usually hit the sack (go to bed) around 11 pm, after doing some light reading and applying some night cream (gotta keep those wrinkles at bay!). Setting my alarm helps too, because nothing ruins a good night’s sleep like waking up late!
Examiner: Do you ever nap during the day?
You: Only if I’m feeling completely brainfogged (super tired). But I try to avoid it, because sometimes those afternoon naps turn into a two-hour snooze-fest, and then I wake up feeling more tired than before!
Examiner: So a good night’s sleep helps you feel more alert?
You: Definitely! When I’m well-rested, I can focus better, I’m more creative, and I just generally feel happier. There’s a reason they call it “beauty sleep,” right?
