Part 1: Fish

SET 1

Examiner: So, tell me, do you enjoy going to the aquarium?

Candidate: Well, actually, I wouldn’t say I go very often… But I do find aquariums fascinating, especially the really big ones like the London Aquarium. The variety of fish you can see there is just incredible!

Examiner: Interesting! What kind of fish do you find most interesting?

Candidate: Hmm, that’s a tough one… I guess, for the more familiar ones, I do love shrimps and salmon. They’re always delicious, no matter how they’re cooked. But, I’m also drawn to the more exotic ones, like king crabs and lobsters. I’ve even tried sea urchin once, though I wouldn’t say it’s everyone’s cup of tea!

Examiner: Wow, you seem quite adventurous when it comes to food! Do you prefer seafood over other types of cuisine?

Candidate: (hesitates) …Well, I wouldn’t say I exclusively eat seafood. I enjoy a good variety of food. But I definitely lean towards it. Some might say I’m a “seafood fanatic” (laughs). I mean, “I can do seafood all day”, especially something like fresh sushi – that’s always a winner!
