PART 1: Geography
Question 1: Were you good at geography in school?
Answer: You know, it’s funny. Most people in my class tended to doze off during geography, but for some reason, I found it really interesting. I was always the first one with my hand in the air, and even with both hands in the air sometimes!
Question 2: So, would you say you’re good at geography now?
Answer: I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, but I’m definitely pretty adept at geography. I spent a lot of time learning in school. I poured over a lot of geography books. I guess you could say I’m pretty well-versed in the world of geography.
Question 3: Why do you think a good understanding of geography is important?
Answer: Well, for one thing, it gives you a firm grasp of the world. You know where places are, how they’re connected, and the history that shaped them. For example, knowing that a neighbourhood is located at the heart of the city versus on the outskirts can tell you a lot about its development and culture.
Question 4: Has your knowledge of geography ever come in handy?
Answer: Actually, yes! Once, I was helping a friend who was flat broke after… well, let’s just say they bet the family farm on Bitcoin. Knowing a bit about geography helped me find some local businesses that were trying to attract foot traffic. They were looking for people who spoke English, and it turned out to be a perfect fit!
